Beautiful copper colours on the Comma; I don’t think I’ve seen one here this year. It’s been an odd year for the common butterflies – we’ve had loads of Tortoiseshells, lots of late Red Admirals but no Peacocks at all. Plenty of other less obvious and rarer species though, so a better year for butterflies generally 🙂

It’s the only one we’ve seen Bob, lots and lots of white and brownish ones though!
