It seems I waited all summer to get photos of Housemartins or Swallows…
…finally though I did get a few shots last weekend, both the Housemartins and Swallows were all gathering on the electricity lines and swooping down to feed at the pond in great numbers – now, just a few days later they’ve gone, Autumn is well and truly here!

Sad to see them go, and with them their happy chattering. Let’s hope for a safe trip back to Africa for them and this years fledglings.
