I’ve missed taking photos of our feathered friends – during summer I take alot (I mean ALOT) of creepy crawly pics, then in the colder months when birds are easier to photograph my camera is equally full of bird shots. However, we came across these willing subjects a few weeks ago, et voila, a brief rest from the creepy crawlies.

Beautiful. I have always loved ducks. I used to have some Rouens, Muscovies and Mallards. They were so entertaining and such good slug eaters. One of the female Muscovies used the manger for my Jersey milk cow for her nest. I loved watching those little babies while I milked Rosemary. An added bonus to me is that all ducks have such a happy expression on their faces.
