I don’t mean to keep mentioning the weather but it was a pleasure to go a walk without togging up in everything waterproof we own! A lovely sunny interval we took full advantage of but some of us still came back wet through and covered in mud.
There’s still plenty of Autumn colour too, just hanging on and of course our friend the Robin.

Lovely pictures again – you even make the muddy, flooded mess that this Autumn has become look beautiful. No leaves left here after 75mph winds and over a foot of rain in a week. My local robin has been stalking me every time I go in the garden just in case I turn up some tasty treats for him while digging. Robin song on a crisp, clear day is one of the real pleasures of this time of year.
