We had a great Halloween/Bonfire night – dressing up, pumpkin carving, cooking/eating outside, fireworks and sparklers. Really, any excuse to do any of those things is seized upon wholeheartedly!

It is so hard to let go of the lovely colors, is it not? Although, I have to admit that the bare trees are beyond the beyond. Bareness is so breathtakingly gorgeous. The bones of life that support us, the trueness of who and which we all are. It is a gift to see life bone to bone, limb to limb and leaf to leaf. Whew!

yes it is, they often don’t last very long here – a good spell of windy wet weather and all of a sudden it’s winter!
