Our friendly, next door, organic farmer decided last year that growing asparagus in polytunnels was the way to go, so…. we now have half a field of plastic over the road – the only upsides to this are the big, new pond they had to create at the bottom of the field (full of tadpoles this year) and we have used them as dog walking tunnels in torrential downpours.They were the only benefits until the other evening when there was an unusual amount of creepy crawly activity around and about them! So here’s a few photos  –  I’ve only put on the cute spiders (there was quite a large, leggy one which found the camera fascinating!) but here’s a warning anyway – the photos in this post may upset readers of a nervous disposition.
