Nature, photography, pottery and making from the Welsh Border
Welcome Home
Our resident summer visitors have finally arrived! they are so late this year that we’d almost given up hope – they’re busy rebuilding this very minute.
For more housemartin loveliness see here and here.
Lovely to see them again. The swallows turned up in April here and then seemed to decide they’d made a mistake and disappeared,(back to Africa where it’s warmer maybe!). They’re back now but not in the usual numbers.
Oh, they are beautiful. I know we have them here in Oregon, but I have never seen any here at home.

We had some swallows over the way a bit earlier in the year but they’ve gone somewhere else!
