After a short break we’re back to Forest School, which these pictures make look pretty idyllic –
it was a lovely warm autumnal day.
The kids played hide and seek, made mud faces on the trees, necklaces and bracelets from some elder twigs, learnt about how trees help us and made a lovely fire in the log circle.

However we do go all through the winter come rain or shine, mud, mud and more mud! The only weather that stops us going are gales or Big snow so……..
sometimes it’s a little bit cold and wet (requiring many layers and thermal undies) and is nowhere near as picturesque. The kids don’t seem to notice but the adults there certainly do – the fire gets a lot more attention!
This caught my eye last thursday (I’d never noticed it before) – the legs and body of an animal?!

Ohhhh, you are making me miss that cold, damp rainy thursday 🙂 Looks lovely here tho, beautiful pics x
