Well this feels like one of those awkward silences so ……. I thought I’d do a 10 Things About Me post while I’m waiting on my photo capability to return.

1. I’m in a minority in our little bit of family. Males – other half, son, dog, rabbit, cat. Females – me, dog and cat. We also have 2 goldfish (who knows what they are) Fang and Not Dead Yet (look away Bob, we’re not having much luck with pets of the fish variety!)

2. I’m a trained potter.

3. I take ‘alot’ of photos – hence the blog, my other half always used to say “why are you taking so many photos?” well now there’s an excuse.

4. I also love painting, sewing, carving, weaving and baking.

5. I have another blog Banana = Egg (to be found in my blogroll) a record of the recipes I cook for my son who has multiple allergies. I’m going to print it off for him one day as a pressie. There is a predominance of cakes on there, but that’s really not all he eats!

6. I have a bit of a thing for beetles.

7. I like to walk (more than just the general getting about walking!)

8. My favourite song is Little Wing by Jimi Hendrix. Favourite films Watership Down and Hero.

9. Mine and my other halfs favourite joke is – What’s brown and sticky? A stick!

10. Next favourite joke  – What’s white, black and blue and stands in a field? A cow with a denim jacket on!

11. I can’t count, have a dubious sense of humour and count my blessings every day.
